Old traditional street of the village of Rieux Volvestre
Among the most beautiful villages of France, you will discover Rieux Volvestre. Structured around the main street, you will see very old timber-framed houses dating from the 13th century and which are perfectly preserved.
Church of Rieux Volvestre
The church of Rieux Volvestre is particularly surprising. Its old colocher of the 13th century dominates the village. The tower is finely worked and slender. The monument is one of the witnesses of the past wealth of the place.
Restaurant in a village in the south of France
In the south of France, some villages still have traditional restaurants. In Rieux Volvestre, for example, the restaurant looks more like a hostel and prepares you good local dishes.
Center of the village of Lisle sur Tarn
Beyond the small alleys that make up the village of Lisle sur Tarn, lies the old central square, one of the last in the region. It is bordered by old traditional houses absolutely superb. (© Photos by E. Buchot)
