Light of morning in the streets of Rouen
At the end of summer, the raysons of the sun begin to be more grazing. During the sunrise, they illuminate the historical center of the city. The narrow streets lined with colored and half-timbered houses sometimes look unreal. The streets are deserted, and far from the tourists you cross only a few inhabitants who get up. You will discover a lively and beautiful city.

Near the cathedral, you will discover old, narrow, pedestrian streets, lined with beautiful half-timbered houses. They have been perfectly restored. It must be known that Rouen was heavily destroyed during the Second World War. At the end of the war, the old town was reconstructed identically. Today, the visit of the historical center is a real joy. To enjoy it I invite you to visit the city early in the morning, away from the tourist groups, but with the locals.
Street of the historical center of Rouen
The Damiette street in Rouen will take you to the church of Saint Maclou. It is famous for its many antique and art shops. Many half-timbered houses are classified as historic monuments. When you visit this old street, I invite you to raise your head to enjoy it. At the end is the old Walsheim brewery.
