With more than 1 million inhabitants, Zagreb is a city to visit. If the suburbs have no interest and are particularly sad, old Zagreb worth a visit.
The journey that I propose is a discovery of the old city of Zagreb, with its narrow streets and colorful. This is the upper town. The churches are really beautiful especially the Cathedral of Saint Catherine. You can visit the botanical garden, but also the many museums. Finally, during Christmas, the Christmas market and lights are worth visiting. If you want, you will find information and tips for preparing your trip to Zagreb. When to go? that visit? Good trip in Croatia

Its favorable geographical location in the south-west of the plain of Pannonia which extends from the Alps to the Dinaric Alps and to the Adriatic Sea the place on the axes of communication between Central Europe and the Adriatic Sea. The interconnections of transport, the concentration of industries, scientific and industrial research make Zagreb the economic center of Croatia. Zagreb is also the seat of government, administrative bodies and almost all ministries. © Pictures of Emmanuel Buchot
